FAQ

Questions, answered

Where does competitor data come from?

Only public sources: reviews on maps and review sites, app store ratings and public social posts. Falcon does not use private data or anything behind a login.

Can we compare individual locations?

Yes. Falcon matches competitor locations to yours by city and neighbourhood, so a location manager can see how they compare with the outlets nearest to them.

How far back does the analysis go?

Typically up to two years of public reviews, depending on the source, so you have a baseline on day one instead of waiting for data to build up.

How is share of voice measured?

Share of voice is your share of all public mentions and reviews in your category for a period, by city or channel. Falcon also reports share of positive voice, which counts only favourable mentions.
